What is the focus of the Diamond Model?

The Diamond Model is built on observations about the factors that help people to succeed in an organisation. It recognises that an individual’s ability to succeed in an organisation is a function of his or her ability to deliver what the organisation needs whilst feeling motivated to deliver it. To do this, the individual needs to:

  • Be clear about what the organisation expects of him/her
  • Be capable of delivering what the organisation needs
  • Be committed to delivering what the organisation needs
  • Feel confident that he/she can deliver what the organisation needs
